Leif Kongskov Larsen

Education
Leif Kongskov Larsen earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Southern Denmark in 1999. He subsequently completed a postdoctoral appointment at the same institution.
Professional background
He has built a long-standing career in research and development with core expertise in molecular biology, assay development, and DNA-encoded library screening. His industry experience spans both biotech and regulatory environments and includes contributions to early-stage drug discovery, technology development, and the implementation of next-generation sequencing–based screening platforms. His career includes roles at companies such as CCBR Clinical Research and Rheoscience, as well as an extended period at Vipergen supporting the maturation of DNA-encoded library technologies.
Current role
He returned to Vipergen in 2021 and currently serves as Director of Biology. His work focuses on advancing DNA-encoded library screening capabilities and driving biological innovation within the organization.
