Cellular Screening
The only DEL screening technology that works inside living cells
Most DEL providers require a purified, stable protein target. If you cannot produce one or if your target only functions in its native cellular environment, they cannot help you. Vipergen’s cellular Binder Trap Enrichment (cBTE) technology removes this constraint entirely.

It depends on which service you select. For in vitro screening (BTE), we typically need a small amount of purified target protein. For cell-based screening (cBTE) no purified protein is required and we will only need the sequence of your protein of interest. For most services, we can begin a project scoping conversation with nothing more than a description of your target and your program goals.
The most significant difference is cBTE — our cell-based DEL screening technology. No other DEL provider offers the ability to screen inside living cells without a purified protein target. Beyond that, our high-fidelity YoctoReactor® libraries are built with lead-likeness in mind from the start, our team has deep expertise in the specific target classes most relevant to modern drug discovery programs, and we are structured to work as a true scientific partner rather than a sample-processing service.
